Project on "Creating an assessment process for "Modern schools"
Information about the project of "Modern school"
"Organization of the evaluation process of" modern schools "Project of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to establish modern schools" 2019 in order to ensure the implementation of Resolution No. 4537 of November 26, the project plans to develop a procedure for assessing the requirements for "modern schools", general secondary education on the basis of the requirements for "modern schools" and a phased assessment of schools.
In today’s world, every parent wants their child to study in a high-valued school with the quality and environments of education. In addition, in line with the reforms carried out in the field of education in recent years, the educational institution must be fully developed, in short, have a modern look. At this point, it is natural to ask the question of how the schools themselves are, which of them is stronger or, conversely, to what extent it lags behind. For this reason, nowadays there is a requirement for a precise ranking of secondary schools.
The aim of the project was to generate such a rating system. In order to ensure the implementation of the above decision, "Studying the experience of Ofsted and involving experts from the World Bank and in cooperation with the State Inspectorate for Education Quality Control, developed" Requirements for "Modern Schools" and criteria and methods of evaluation of general secondary education.
Criteria for evaluating "Modern school"
The requirements are divided into 4 main areas, 11 sections and 38 criteria, and the total score that can be collected by general secondary education is set at 1000 points. Each criterion is considered as a separate index, and a ranking of schools is made based on the final score.
